About
My name is Matthew Irvin and I am from Westerville, Ohio, just outside of Columbus. I now live In Mauldin SC, just outside of Greenville. I work at Greer Middle IB School, home of the Yellow Jackets. I teach sixth grade Humanities with a concentration in Ancient history from the dawn of time to the 1600s. I love my job and set this blog up to make myself more accessible to my students, to answer more questions they have but I cannot focus on due to standards and time limitations. If you have a question about history, please feel free to post it. Your question will be sent to me and I’ll post it up and answer your question. It can be about ancient history or present day politics, anything is fine by me. Hopefully I’ll learn something too!

If the countries of the Middle East can change the price of oil by how much they produce, then why can’t the United States make them change their price by changing the amount of oil we buy from them and using our reserves or our own wells?
